Leah Glassman Receives Presidential Award Corporal Leah Glassman received the Presidential Award on Yom Haatzmaut as one of the 120 outstanding soldiers in the Israel Defense Force. The award was presented by Shimon Peres at the President's House. It is given annually on Israel's Independence Day. In attendance in addition to the President were PM Ehud Olmert, Secretary of Defense Barack, Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi. |
