Kitanim
Krav Maga: Self Defense for Kids
January 29, 2012
1 - 3 p.m.

On Sunday afternoon, January 29th, the kids in Kitanim (Grades 3-5) experienced the Israeli self-defense course Krav Maga Maleh as taught by two instructors from Cincinnati Karate. Learn more about the program at Cincinnati Karate.com.

Krav Mala Maleh is a program designed for children ages 10-12. It is a self defense system created by the Israeili Defense Forces, now transformed for civilian use. Cincinnati Karate is trained and certified by the Chief Instructor in Ramat Gan, Israel. This is not a traditional form of martial arts. There are no tournaments, competitions or board breaking. This is self defense for real life: Hand Defenses, Wrist and Choke Grab Defense as well as Basic Hand Strikes and Kicks, including the proper areas for effective strikes. It is fast-paced fitness self defense and fun!
