Noodle Night and Talent Show

Saturday, January 26, 2008
7:30 p.m.

The evening began with a buffet dinner featuring "Noodles from around the World": baked ziti, pesto pasta and peanut noodles, plus salad and garlic bread. After dessert, we had a musical lineup ranging from classic Rock 'n Roll to Hannah Montana and comedy from Abbot and Costello to "Cold Chopped Liver".

Hank Stern was the MC for the evening
Emcee Hank Stern started off the Talent Show with a comedy routine with his cell phone.

Jonathan sang "I Believe I Can Fly".

Leah danced to a song from "Hairspray".
Tracy and Scott
Tracy Weisberger and Scott Kabakoff performed the Abbott and Costello "Who's on First" routine.
Vanessa
Vanessa sang "Start All Over", accompanied by Claire Lee.
Magic Act
Daniel and "volunteer" Eddie performed magic card tricks.
Ben plays piano
Ben played "Tarantella" by Bergmuller.
Claire and Raphaela
Claire Lee and Raphaela Ghodsizadeh performed "Havanaise" from
"Suite for Jazz Flute and Piano" by Claude Bolling.
Gail Stern Sings
Gail Stern sang "A Green Cornfield" by Michael Head.
Doug Mossman
Douglas Mossman sang "Cold Chopped Liver" to the tune of "Old Man River".
Trio performance
A trio composed of Claire Lee, Douglas Mossman and Jeff Gushin
played some traditional dance and fiddle music.

Jeff traded his fiddle for some balalaika music.
Mark Washofsky
Rabbi Mark Washofsky closed the evening with some Rabbinical Rock 'n Roll.
