Hebrew Union College
3101 Clifton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45220

Morning service was held at Hebrew Union College at 9 a.m. The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati’s Partnership 2000 committee, Adath Israel, Ohav Shalom and Northern Hills Congregations of Cincinnati, Beth Israel of Hamilton, and Beth Israel Congregation of Baltimore wrapped Teffilin together through a videoconference organized in Cincinnati and also held in Baltimore and Netanya. The program was open to the entire community.

The highlight was a live videoconference hookup with Laniado Hospital in Netanya, Israel, Cincinnati’s Partnership 2000 city, where Rabbi George Barnard was one of the participants.

World Wide Wrap (WWW), sponsored by the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs (FJMC), is held annually on the morning of Super Bowl Sunday. The WWW program is designed to introduce and re-introduce Jewish men, women, and families to the significance of "laying" Teffilin and creating tikkun olam.

Several NHS members were in attendance. Following the shacharit service, Dr. Mark Raider, Chair of the UC Judaic Studies Department, spoke about the role of American Jewry in the establishment of the State of Israel.
